04How We Collect Information
- Directly from you — when you fill out a form, enrol in a course, apply for a role, submit a proposal, or email us.
- Automatically — through cookies, analytics tools, and similar technologies as you browse the Website.
- From third parties — including recruitment partners assisting Digixon Hire engagements, production partners for Digixon Films, and publicly available business information used to evaluate i2i or client proposals.
05How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to enquiries and deliver the Service you've requested;
- Process Academy enrollments, issue certificates, and provide course support;
- Evaluate and process i2i, Startup Ideas, and job applications;
- Manage client engagements, including invoicing and project delivery;
- Send marketing communications and newsletters, where you've opted in;
- Improve the Website, our Services, and our understanding of how visitors use them;
- Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations; and
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security, or technical issues.
06Legal Basis for Processing
Where applicable (including for Users in the EU/UK under GDPR), Digixon processes personal data on one or more of the following legal bases: your consent; the necessity of processing to perform a contract with you (e.g. a client engagement or course enrollment); our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business, provided these are not overridden by your rights; and compliance with a legal obligation.
07Cookies & Tracking Technologies
The Website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand site usage, and support analytics. This may include essential cookies required for the Website to function, and optional analytics or marketing cookies, which are used only where permitted or where you have provided consent via our cookie banner.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect Website functionality.
08Data Sharing & Third Parties
Digixon does not sell your personal data. We may share information with:
- Service providers — hosting, email, analytics, payment processing, and CRM vendors who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- Delivery partners — including third-party recruitment partners supporting Digixon Hire engagements, and production partners supporting Digixon Films, who receive only the information necessary to deliver the relevant Service.
- Legal & regulatory authorities — where required to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
09Children's Data & Minors
The Website and our general Services are not directed at children. Where Digixon Education-related campaign work involves reaching minors on behalf of a school or institution client, we require verified parental or guardian consent before any data collection or targeted communication involving a minor, in line with COPPA (United States), the DPDP Act 2023 (India), and GDPR provisions on children's data (EU/UK), as applicable to the relevant campaign's geography.
Digixon does not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under the age of 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) without such consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data without appropriate consent, please contact us using the details in Section 20 so we can address it.
10Regulated-Industry Client Data
Where Digixon supports clients in regulated sectors such as healthcare and BFSI, any patient, policyholder, or financial-customer data encountered in the course of a campaign is handled in line with the relevant framework referenced on the applicable industry page — including HIPAA, GDPR, and India's DPDP Act 2023 for healthcare, and RBI, SEBI, and IRDAI guidance for BFSI. Digixon acts as a data processor on the client's behalf in these engagements, and the client remains the data controller responsible for underlying legal compliance, as set out in our Terms & Conditions.
11Affiliate Links & Third-Party Sites
The Digixon Books section contains affiliate links to third-party marketplaces such as Amazon and Flipkart. When you click through to one of these sites, their own privacy policy and cookie practices apply, not this one. Digixon does not receive or store your payment or purchase details from these third-party transactions.
12International Data Transfers
Digixon is headquartered in India, with offices in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Patna, and Chandigarh, and serves clients internationally. Where personal data is transferred across borders — for example, from a client or User located outside India — we take reasonable steps to ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection law, including the use of appropriate contractual safeguards where required.
13Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose it was collected for, including any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Academy enrollment records are retained for the duration of course access plus a reasonable period for certificate verification. Job application data is retained for a limited period after a hiring decision, after which it is deleted or anonymised unless you consent to being considered for future roles. Client engagement data is retained per the terms of the relevant service agreement.
14Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures — including access controls, encryption in transit, and restricted internal access — designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
15Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; object to or restrict certain processing; and request a copy of your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 20. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, which may vary depending on your jurisdiction (for example, under the DPDP Act 2023 or GDPR).
16Do Not Track & Opt-Outs
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in each email. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal; the Website does not currently respond differently to this signal, though essential cookies will still be used to operate core site functionality.
17Job Applicant & i2i Submission Data
Information submitted through a Digixon Careers application, an open application, or a Digixon i2i or Startup Ideas proposal is used solely to evaluate that application or proposal, and — where you've indicated interest — to consider you for future, related opportunities. Business or proposal details submitted for i2i evaluation are treated with reasonable confidentiality and are not shared outside the review process without your consent, as set out further in our Terms & Conditions.
18Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via the Website or, where appropriate, directly to affected Users.
19Grievance Officer
In accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the Information Technology Act, 2000, Digixon will designate a Grievance Officer responsible for addressing privacy-related complaints and requests.
[Placeholder — insert the designated Grievance Officer's name, email address, and registered office address here before publishing, as required for DPDP Act compliance.]
